ANNUITY FOR LIFE
YOUNG WOMAN’S INJURY SEQUEL TO ACCIDENT (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. By an order confirming! an agreement for a settlement, made by Mr. Justice Johnston in the Supreme Court to-day, Dulcie Hinemoa Cameron, who was seriously injured in a motor accident in Ferry road on September 17, 1933, was granted an annuity of £175 a year for life, payable from the date of the accident.
Miss Cameron, aged 19 years, was riding pillion on the motor cycle ol Mr. It. Hazel burst, which collided with a taxi, and is now paralysed for life, and will always need someone t,o look after tier. The parties to the agreement are Miss Cameron and Charles'Seymour Irillo, a taxi’’proprietor. Counsel said the insurance company concerned would pay the annuity.
