MEAT BOARD COMPETITION

The North Island section of the distinct competition' ill export lambs, promoted by the Meat Producers Board, has attracted entries this season from the Waikato, Hawke’s Bay, Gisborne, Southern Hawke’s Bay, Wairarapa, Feilding, Manawatu, Wanganui and Taranaki districts, and the lambs which are being shipped to London for the final adjudication total 405 from the nine districts. The bulk of the entries will be shipped on the Rangitane, which is duo to reach London on January 23. The Manawatu lambs have been dispatched on the Waiwera, and the Taranaki and Wanganui lambs will be taken 1 on the Mahana, due in London on February 1, All the entries are to be displayed ,ab- Smithfield- and fudged by a panel of Well-Known authorities on the subject.
