"Doctors do not seem to be in any Hurry to send out their accounts,” remarked Mr. W. R. McKecn, S.M., in the Auckland Police Court, when a doctor’s fee for attention to a child bitten by a dog was being discussed. It was staged that, although it was three months since the attention was given, no bill had yet been received. A charge of having a dangerous dog, preferred against a man, was dismissed, the owner having previously undertaken to pay the doctor s bill.
