ROYAL MARRIAGE SERVICE REJECTED PRAYER BOOK LONDON, Dec. 5. A letter of complaint has been addressed to the King, the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. Lang, and the Prime Minister, Mr. MacDonald, by tho Protestant Alliance, concerning the Royal marriage service. It complains that portions of the rejected Prayer Book of 1928 were used at the wedding. It points out that, since its rejection by the House of Commons, the book has not received the Royal Assent nor been returned to the convocations and the national assembly; therefore it is without Royal, ecclesiastical, or legal authority.
