DAIRY PRODUCE MARKETS QUIET TONE CONTINUES A quiet tone continues in the markets for New Zealand butter and cheese in London. Butter has declined a further Is per cwt. for finest, first grade remaining unaltered. Cheese is 6d per cwt. lower than reported yesterday. Messrs. Joseph Nathan and Company report to-day as follows: “Butter, finest 71s, first, grade 70s. Cheese, white 445, colored 435. Both markets are very quiet.”
KIA ORA CORDIAL CO. (Ei«c. Tn|. Copyright—Unitnrt Press Assn.) (Received Dec. 13, noon) LONDON, Dec. 12. The Kia Ora Cordial Company’s profit was £20.207. and the amount brought forward £4561. An interim dividend of 2J,- per cent, was paid, but the- payment of a final dividend is not recommended.
LONDON WOOL SALES Messr-s. Williams and Kettle, Limited, are in receipt of the following cabled report from London : —“The sixth series of sales closed on December 11. with the market firm at approximately -l,d a lb. decline on fine crossbreds and R 1 on medium crossbreds. Coarse crossbreds show no depreciation on rates quoted at the previous series. London values are quoted as follows, for wools of average style and condition 50/56ks, 8-jjd : 46/48’s,* 7d : 44/46’s, 6d : 40/44’s, 54(1; 36'40’s. SJ-d.”
