GUESTS ARRIVING
THE ROYAL WEDDING NO FREE STATE GUEST (Received Nov. 20, noon.) LONDON, Nov. 18. The royal guests have already begun to arrive for the Duke of Kent's wedding. The Princesses Irene of Greece, and Helen and Ileana, of Rumania, the Queen Mother of Rumania, and Prince Paul of Greece, arrived' by air from Paris to-day. Princess Juliana of Holland leaves Rotterdam to-mor-row. * All the ships of the Royal Navy will “dress ship” on November 29, the royal wedding day. Those equipped with illumination circuits will be fully illuminated at night. London traffic arrangements for the wedding day are in the hands of the commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, who had an audience with the King at Buckingham Palace. The Daily Express states that the Governor-General of the Irish Free State declined His Majesty’s invitation to the Duke of Kent’s wedding. Mr. Buckley has never attended any function in his official capacity. To do so would be a breach of the understanding reached when he was appointed. It is stated authoritatively that no member of Mr. De Valera’s Government will attend, but it may be represented 1 by Mr. Dulanty, the Free .State High Commissioner in London.
