RELICS OF THE WAR
GRIM DISCOVERIES PARTS, Sept. 14. Sixteen years after the end of the great war grim relies are still being discovered in parts of the battle zone. A shooting party lias .just found in the neighborhood of “Hill 2-10,'’ about eight miles west; of Rlieims, on the site of an- old trench, skeletons, accompanied, by buttons and articles of equipment which showed them to be the remains of German soldiers. There was a complete skeleton of a German machine gunner lying beside the remnants of his weapon and belts of unused cartridges. Ife appeared to have been killed by shell splinters. Near the spot are scattered several German “tin li .i ts ’ and other evidence that this machine-gun post was long ago the scene of a deadly combat.
