EARTHQUAKE AT TIMARU

A pronounced earthquake shock was experienced in Tiniaru at 3.'5 p.in. today. The shake, which lasted for a few seconds, was iu the nature of an upward jolt, and was sufficient to cause windows to rattle perceptibly.
