RIFLE SHOOTING
GISBORNE DEFENCE CLUB NOVEMBER HANDICAP The opening shoot in the Gisborne Defence Bille Club’s November Handicap competition took place at the Mangap&pa range on Thursday and Saturday. The shooting was over the 200yds. and 500yds. ranges, with 10 shots and two sighters at each distance. Five Of the marksmen returned totals of 96; J. Berry, from , scratch, headed the list with a 48 at each' range, and F. J. Jcune, also off scratch, scored 49 at 200yds. and 47 at the longer range. Detailed scores were as follow:—J.
