L. Liteison, S.M., at the conclusion of the inquests at Hamilton touching the deaths of the ionstable and the Maori. n Ah- Paterson said lie had known Constable Keeps for seven years and had found him 1o lie a capable and conscientious police officer. The members of the police force were extremely proud that, hr died doing his duty, and ins death was deeply deplored.
