MELBOURNE’S HENLEY PROSPECTS POR TO-DAY (Klee. Tel. Copyright—United Tress Assn.) Melbourne; Nov. 2. Henley, one of the greatest, days of Melbourne’s social season, is expected this year to be the best yet. It is raining to-day, but the prospects are good, and arrangements promise to make the regatta a most, colorful and spectacular event. New Zealand’s interest is centred in Wanganui, one of the 12 crows competing for the grand challenge cup lotsenior eights. English and New Zealand crews have entered for the first time for this blue ribbon- mile race of the (Southern Hemisphere. The New Zealanders form is still good. Nearly 500 oarsmen are taking part in the various events.
