Borough Council workmen have started to erect a stone wall 2ft. high round tne boiling pool in the Kuirau reserve, Rotorua, which was the scene of a recent fatality, and also many accidents in the past. . Tho wall will prevent bathers who are using the warm soda bath from accidentally slipping into the neighboring hot pool, which is separated from the hath by a piece of land 2ft. Gin. wide in its narrowest part. It is umTerstood that the council also intends to erect notices prohibiting' bathing in the reserve after dark.
