WAERENGA-A HIKA CLUB ,
The annual mooting of the Waerenga-n-hika Tennis Club was presided over by tho Rev. R. Hodgson. There was a’ fair attendance of members, who wore very keen. / - The balance-sheet showed a good margin of credit, and the outgoing committee was /congratulated on theyear’s work. The officers for tho ensuing year were elected as follow:—President, the Rev. R. Hodgson; vice-president, Mr M. Coombe; hon. secretary, Mr J. B. Greig; assistant secretary, Mrs N. Cram; committee, Miss Jon-Cs, Mesdames Hodgson, Cram and Barrow, Messrs. Kemp, Jones, Cook and A. Pardoe. ’ * A sub-committee comprising Miss .Tones, Mrs Atoms and Messrs. Kemp, Warrington, and Cook, with Miss K. Boyd and Air IT. Davies as .joint, secretaries, was elected to organise a dance. The president reported thal. tho courts were ia splendid order, and a very good season was anticipated.
