WATERFRONT DISPUTE
TROUBLE AT AUCKLAND five vessels idle (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Of the six Union Steam Ship Company vessels in port, only the Aorangi bad cargo worked today, the waterside workers asking Unit lull gangs should be worked for loading as for discharging vessels. Meanwhile no labor has been called tor. The men met this' morning, but- no decision was available early this afternoon.
Anxiety is felt, in the fruit trade over the delay in discharging the Waipalii s cargo of 8000 cases of bananas, and also the \Vaimarino’s cargo of 2200 sacks of potatoes, for which a have market is wading.
