The damage is not serious, and the pilots were uninjured. The machine was rushed to the workshops and it is expected that repairs will be effected in time to enable the 'pilots to roach Mildcnhall on Monday, so the Aero Club granted aii extension of time until to-morrow. There will be no mistaking the Rapi'de Dragon, flown by SquadronLeader .7. D. lleweft and Flying-Officer Kay. It is painted n virulent orange, an inartistic, but the easiest color to see from the air in the event of a forced landing. The Miles Hawk, flown iby fellow New Zealanders, Squadron-Leader McGregor and Mr Walker, will be the smallest plane in the race.
