The Master-ton Racing Club Vs spring mooting, concluded on Saturday in line But- dull weather. There was a large attendance and. the course was in good order. The totalisator handled £6551, making the total tor the meeting £12,403. List year’s spring meeting was a one-day fixture on a Saturday, when- the totalisator bundled. £7Oll 10s. In the Vallaitee Memorial Passion Fruit, Lady Ronald, and Gold Trail were prominent early, whiles Walton Park improved his position to the half-mile. The leaders into Hie straight were Lady Ronald, Gold Trail, Passion Fruit, and Might. Might and Passion Fruit came through at the distance to dispute the issue. The former prevailing by a head. The favorite, Gold Trail, failed after having a chance. Champion Hack Handicap.—l Nigel (Ridgeway), 1; 2 Dorado (Piiie), 2; 8 Blue Boy (Morris), ", Also ran: 4, West Tor, 5 Sweet Music, 7 Revival, 6 Invcresk. Won by three lengths and a head. West Tor was fourth. Time,, 2.15. Sir Nigel, attend-. £d by West Tor, led from the barrier to score* nicely. Dorado and Blue Boy were always handy, and beat off Wes Tor, over ibe final stages.
