Interviewed, he said that he was feeling the benefit of the rest from Cabinet duties?, and that his operation had proved perfectly successful. He said he had come back to Wellington to help the Government in any way he could, but would not bo able to shoulder very much work for a little while yet. lie will retain the portfolios of Post master-General and Minister in charge of tourist resorts, but will not take over Unemployment or Labor until he feels that he is absolutely fit again. _ He denied a rumor that he is leaving for Australia to attend the Melbourne Centenary celebrations.
