NOVEL POINT RAISED
PATERNITY DISPUTE BLOOD TEST WANTED (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. A novel point was raised in an affiliation case this morning when counsel for the defendant sought an adjournment tor six months to enable a, blood group test to be made to disprove paternity. Counsel said that that period was the shortest in which a group test could be properly settled. The magistrate elected to hear the complainant’s case, reserving the point raised for consideration if necessary. He remarked that there would be many such applications if it was granted.
