DOMINION’S SHEEP
IMPROVING THE QUALITY INSPECTORS APPOINTED A farther step toward improving the quality of mutton and the character of wool of the sheep ffocks of the Dominion was made at Feildmg on Wednesday, when the New Zealand Romney Marsh Sheep breeders’ Association announced the appointment of inspectors under tho scheme for the voluntary certification of sires, The inspectors appointed are Messrs. A. L. Wheeler, Leedstown, Martqrt (chief inspector), and L. N. Hoggard, Pahiatua (junior inspector). The scheme is to come into operation on December 1 and will conclude on March 31, 1935. This period will he known as the inspection season and at the close, tho chief inspector, Mr. Wheeler, will undertake to tour New Zealand, giving lectures and demonstrations at places and at times directed by the conned of the association.
