RAIN PREVENTS CRICKET
BRADMAN'S CONDITION FIT FOR FIFTH TEST (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Received Aug. 3, 11 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 2. There was no play in the cricket match between Australia and Gloucester owing to continuous rain. Mr Bushby says that Dr. Shields informs him that Bradman’s condition is quite satisfactory, overnight reports suggesting that it was in any way serious being without foundation. Bradman will definitely be fit for the fifth test. Messrs. Chester and Walden have been appointed umpires for the fifth test.
