REQUEST FOR COMMISSION (Pnr Press Association.)' WELLINGTON, last night. A further request to the Government to proceed with the setting up of the promised Local Government Commission is to la> made by the -executive of the Associated Chambers of Commerce. In making the request to the Government, it was decided to ask also that the order of reference be made as wide as would allow the commission to deal adequately with the whole system of local government and not just a section of it.
