GOVERNOR OF JAMAICA
APPOINTMENT MADE (British Official Wireless.) Rec, 10 a.m. RUGBY, May 14. Sir Alexander Rnnsford plater lias tendered his resignation of the Governorship of Jamaica, on the grounds of ill-health. The King has accepted the resignation and approved the appointment in lvis place as Captain-General and Governor-in-Chief of Jamaica of Sir Edward B. Denham, at present Governor and Oommander-in-Cmef bf British Guiana.
