PLANES IN COLLSION FEW EYE-WITNESSES LONDON, May 2. Prior to collision of t he two air force aeroplanes, the occupants of a lonely farmhouse, and a few laborers saw one machine flying south and another west. They heard a crash like a thunderclap.

The four victims were found dead in the aeroplanes. They had not time to utilise the parachutes. The laborers had to dodge falling fragments of the planes, which made huge holes in the ground, the engines taking four hours to extricate.
