CONFIDENCE TRICKSTERS (Received March 22, Ift a.m.) LONDON, March 21. Two Australians, James Lewis and George Blake, were sentenced to six months’ imprisonment for attempting to steal £IOOO from an American doctor bv means of a confidence trick. •Both had convictions in Australia and had been deported. Lewis’ solicitor said that his client had ,a fine golfing record and gave lessons to the King of Siam.
