EMPEROR OF MANOHUKUO PLANS FOR ASCENSION (Received March 1, 11 a.m.) - SHANGHAI, Feb. 28. At sunrise to-morrow, Mr Henry Pu Yi will ascend the Manchurian throne as emperor. He will be invested with the overawing title of “God’s vice-regent on earth,’’ yet, in a friendly meeting with journalists to-day, he showed a friendly unpretentious interest in the progress of the country since the foundation of the State tvvo years ago.
