Another accident with sodium chlorate, ivljich is used extensively for the extermination of ragwort, occurred at Cambridge on Sunday afternoon, when Mr. N. Brown, son of Mr. Wynn Brown, master of tile Waikato Hunt, was severely burned about the left thigh, as the result of some grains of the chemical in his pocket igniting. Dir. Brown was riding, a horse at the time, and tho ignition of the chemical was caused by friction.
