York and Crowley (s) 15 Mrs. Peach, assisted by Miss Chamberlain, served afternoon tea in the pavilion POVERTY BAY CLUB Finalising their section of the Chib Fours competition, Saturday players at the Poverty Bay club’s green enthusiastically tendered their congratulations to the veteran, J. Greig, whose fine record of performances in club and representative matches has been added to by his progress through this season’s Club Fours, to the final stage, without a defeat. The winning rink in tiie Saturday section comprises. Smith, Shaw, Greig and Bennett (s), this rink being drawn meet the Thursday winners at an curly date to finalise'the competition. KAHUTIA CLUB The second round of the Hennessy Memorial Fours was played on Saturday on the Kahutia Bowling Club’s green. Some very good games resulted.
