SALUTARY SENTENCE
THREE YEARS FOR BURGLAR (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. “I intend to make an example of yon,” said Mr Justice Ilerdman to Walter .John Clues, 28, who broke into three shops in Karaiigahapo road recently and appeared i'or sentence today. The judge said burglaries were too? common in the city, and shopkeepers were in a continual state of anxiety. He sentenced the prisoner to three years’ hard labor.
