RESIGNATION OF PREMIER

(Received January 4,2 p.m.) BUCHAREST, Jan. 3. The Prime Minister, M. Angelescu, has resigned. The Minister of Commerce, M. Tatarescu, is forming a Cabinet. M. Tatarescu suppressed the Communist rising in Bessarabia in 1924. He favors close relations with France, where he was educated. He is a friend of M. Titulescu, who is returning from Switzerland in defiance of threats against his life, and will probably continue as Foreign Minister.
