The directors of Talisman Dubbo Gold Mines, Limited, Karangaliake, have declared an interim dividend of 5 per cent., equal to 3d a 5s paid share, payable on December 16. This is the lirst distribution by the company. In a report, the directors state that since the completion of the aerial and hoppers on October 1, £02.27 dry tons had been treated at the Golden Dawn battery for an actual return of £I4OB. After payment of costs of treatment and all mining and overhead charges, the net profit from this and a. treatment of 25 tons on August 28. was £BSB. from this was deducted £502 standing to the. debit of the profit, and loss account on June 30. This sum, with £558 uncalled capital, which is being called up. would constitute a reserve lor further development. . . The tonnage had all been derived lroin the Maria reef at the No. 1 Talisman level. The rise to connect this level with the Talisman Dublin level. 11511above, would be started shortly.
