FAST KEEN BOXING
The middleweight professional boxing championship at Greyrnoutb was won by Harry Lister, Greyrnoutb, after a fast and strenuous 15-round contest with Vince Parker, Timaru, both list. 5-jdb. Lister secured a knock-out in the final round. The contest was very even until the end. Parker was faster, but Lister was more aggressive, and a harder hitter. A large house cheered the boxers repeatedly for their excellent showing.
