H.B. RIVER DIVERSION
•Complete agreement regarding the allocation of the cost of diversion of the Tutaekuxi River was reached at the conference of local bodies which was held at Napier yesterday. The amount which the local bodies have agreed to pay towards the total allocation of £44,000 for which they are collectively responsible, areas lot-lows:-Napier Harbor Board, £lo,ooo, Hawke’s Bay Rivers Board, £10,750, Hawke’s Bay County Council, , Napier City Council, £o7o0; total, £44,000. * .
