Bees in Winter
HONEY bees do not hibernate in the , true sense of tho word for they move about within the hive and are continually taking food during the winter months. As the winter approaches and the temperature within the hive hovers between 69 and 5f degrees Fahrenheit, tho hoes remain quietly on their combs but as soon as it drops to 57 degrees or lower tho bees gather together into one compact cluster.
