WRONG LANDING FIELD
AEROPLANE DAMAGED OCCUPANTS UNINJURED (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, last night. The Western Federated Aero Club’s Gipsy Moth plane, with Mr. E. F. Harvie as a pilot and Miss P. Hunter, oi Wanganui, as passenger, met with a mishap at Kaikoura to-day when land irig. r ‘ The machine, which was flown from North Cape to Bluff on Friday, was being taken north again, and left Christchurch at 9.30 a.in., It is believed that Mr. Hnrvic, when choosing a. paddock in which to land, chose the wrong one, and there was no! sufficient space: The tips of both wings were damaged and one wing may have to be replaced. Neither passenger noi pilot was hurt.
