300-YEAR-OLD EVENT
EXPEDITION TO AMERICA PLAQUE UNVEILED (British Official Wireless.) Rec. 10 a.m. RUGBY, Nov. 24. A bronze plaque was unveiled at Cowes parade to commemorate the sailing from Cowes 3CO years ago of two small ships with Leonard Calvert, son ot the first Lord Baltimore, and his expedition to America, where they founded the State of Maryland.
