ENORMOUS PROFITS
U.S. SHIPPING FINANCE SENATE DISCLOSURES WASHINGTON, Nov. 23. With Mr. 11. Stanley Dollar as a witness, the Senate ocean mail investigation to-day disclosed that the Admiral Oriental lane, with an initial capital of only £IOO, made profits totalling £1,481,000 during the years 1922 to 1930, beside protits of £1,000,000 by the Dollar Steamship Line, the parent concern, through the. aid of the Government in financing the Dollar companies. They still owe the United States Shipping Board £3,409,000 in connection with ship purchases and construction loans.
