MEAT FOR BRITISH NAVY
QUEENSLAND TENDER BRISBANE, Nov. 13. The half-yearly contract for the supply of meat to the British fleet in the Mediterranean has again come to Queensland, having been secured by Swift (Australian) Company Proprietary,'Limited. The contract, which is for‘the first six months of 1934, is for 1400 tons of frozen beef crops and hindquarters, also 1000 tons of frozen inutfpn. This meat will be shipped from Queensland ports.
