TOBACCONISTS MEET
Tobacconists from all parts of the Dominion have been meeting in Wellington and have decided to form a New Zealand Federation of Tobacconists.
Representatives of the Grocers’ Association and representatives of the manufacturers conferred with them, and many matters of great mutual interest were discussed. Delegates waited on the Parliamentary Committee on Industries and Commerce, which heard representations on matters affecting the growers, manufacturers, retailers, and distributors.
