The tentative list of matters for consideration is as follows : (1) Wiietnor the present system oi unemployment relief is satisfactory. (2.) If the reply to No. 1 is in the negative, what system is suggested in its place! Arising irom this, whether any of the following suggestions could bo approved: (a) Restoration of trade union conditions, with shortening of hours of labor; (b) abolition ot all unemployment relief work and substitution of adequate sustenance; (c) provision of finance for prosecution ot State and municipal public works; (d) extension of small farm scheme; (e) a contributory pension to operate at 60 years of age; (f) extension of No. 10 scheme, for public buildings only. (3) Whether support should be given to the demand for a Government inquiry into monetary and credit systems. (4) Whether provision should be made for vocational training for men whose vocations have permanently gone, and for unemployed youths. (6) Whether benefit would be derived from a general planning of industry to secure the most economic use of the .man power and the resources of the Dominion.
