ORDERS FOR SCOTLAND “MEDICAL PURPOSES’’ (Received Nov. 24, 3 p.m.) LONDON, Nov, 23. Whisky exporters of Glasgow to-day received "United States permits to export 100. COO gallons of spirit for "medical purposes,” and hope for additional permits for a further 150,000 gallons, also “medicinal.” Meanwhile, American syndicates hold 5,000,000 gallons in bond in Scotland for shipment when the general market is opened, but a decision regarding export permits is not expected bclorc January.
