”■ jr- - SECOND SERIES PLAY POSITION OF TEAMS ■The second series of matches in the Poverty Bay Cricket Association’s senior championship competition will be finalised at the Oval to-morrow afternoon, the first day’s play having taken place a fortnight ago, at the close of which the positions of the teams were as follow: Marist, first innings, 94. City, first innings, three wickets down for 2A9. Gisborne dub, first innings, 147. High School, first innings, five down for 50. Civil Service, first innings, 133. Old Boys, first innings, seven down for 132. The draw for the minor grades is as follows: —■ •Second grade.—High School A v. Marist, at the Oval; High School B v. Unemployed, at the High School. Third grade.—High School A v. High School B, at the High School • Marist v. High School C, at the High School. The following teams have been selected for to-morrow’s play in the various grades:— Marist seniors.—Holdsworth, McMahon (2), Good, Owen, Scholium, Reed (2). Carter, Warner, Lloyd, Sexton, and Pajrker. . High School seniors.—Carson, FJavell, Thomson, Frazer, Sharp, White, Bright, Stephenson, Moody, Thompson, and Oedenvall. High School A, second grade.—Baskin, McKee, Bignall, F. Thompson, Stokes, Rloore, C. Allen, Smyth. Presland. Clarke, and Hockley. High School B, second grade.—Barnes, Bradley, Oates, Mallet, Bennett, Toroa, Porter, Sharp, and PlumUnemployed juniors, from the following.—Green (3).
