TEACHERS’ SALARIES
REQUEST FOR INCREASE (Ppr Press Association.) M.A3TERTON, this day. Stating thntC and D grade secondary school -teachcl's were finding if difficult to make ends meet on their present salaries, the Wairunipa Secondary Education Board, at a meeting at Mastcrton last night, decided .to make representations to the Government regarding the salaries 'paid to tliehc teachers. The board also agreed to seek the support of other secondary education hoards in pressing the proposal.
