POISONED CANDY
SENT TO HOSPITAL SIX PERSONS AFFECTED (Elec. Tel. Copyright—Unltod Press Assn.) (Received Nov. 23, 3 p.ni.) OOATESVILLEI (Penn.), Nov. 22. Federal Department of Justice agents to-day revealed that they were investigating a poisoned candy plot at the War Veterans’ Hospital here, Six persons were ill on Saturday night from eating candy mailed in a small box from Philadelphia. The package was opened by a veteran in the presence of a nurse, both of whom, with two other patients and two attendants, partook. All are on tho road to recovery.
