BARTER WITHIN THE EMPIRE
According to a statement in the London Times, British cream separators are to be exchanged for Canadian ploughs, an arrangement to this effect having been made between two respective manufacturers. It was announced that the first consignment of cream separators had been sent to Canada, and the first consignment of Canadian ploughs, specially designed for the British market, had been landed in the United Kingdom. The two firms concerned will act as distributors in their home markets for the exchanges. The arrangement, it is claimed, is a direct result of the Ottawa Conference.
