AEROPLANE DISASTER
RECOVERY OP BODIES INQUEST ADJOURNED {Par Press Association.) GREYMOUTK, last night. Over CO mop were engaged to-day bringing the bodies ot Mr. Lynch and Mr. Renton, tho. aeroplane victiiYis, down fropi Mount Turiwliate, the task occupying' three hours, and being done quicker than anticipated owing to the weather improving and tho use of a device consisting' of a wide leather belting to which,ropes were attached, 20 men pulling in front and as many holding the ropes behind the belting to which the bodies' were affixed. The bodies were conveyed to Hokitika and tlic inquest was opened, but adjourned. There will he a joint funeral there to-niorrow. The plane, which had become visible from tiro road after tho fog lifted, was burnt, being useless. Captain Mercer secured the instruments, cylinder, wheels and part of the wings. The joystick was found In pieces some distance from the plane.
