Tho Co-operative Pig Marketing Bill is intended to give to co-operative pig marketing companies tho same privileges regarding the issue and surrender of shares as are possessed by co-operative dairying companies. The Post and Telegraph Amendment Bill, though largely of an administrative i haracter, will enable the department to exercise control over electrical apparatus which is interfering with radio broadcast reception. The Local Authorities’ Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Bill is a comprehensive measure covering these phases of finance, and fixing the maximum rate of interest on future local loans at 41 per cent. Tho Act is intended to apply only within New Zealand.

There is also a. short measure enabling the New Zealand Institute of Science to prefix tho word "Royal” to its title.
