’QUAKE AT WELLINGTON
SLIGHT DAMAGE DONE (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. An earthquake classed at the Kelburn Observatory as between five and six on the Rossi Forel scale occurred at Wellington at 5.16 o’clock this morning. The epicentre was given as 40 miles from Wellington in Look Strait. Slight damage was reported to three chimneys.
