MEMORANDA
Entries received for the annual rose show of the Poverty Bay Horticultural Society, to he held to-morrow at the City Hall, point to an excellent display of blooms. The sf hedule for I his function includes roses, cut flowers, and decorative* classes, and the weather conditions having been exceptionally kind during the past few days, the gardens of the district should yield the most handsome exhibits. The society is furnishing assistance to exhibitors in staging their displays, and the arrangement of the platforms at the. City Hall will ho on nil interesting and novel plan, designed to make the most of the blooms on exhibition. The show will he open during to-morrow afternoon and evening.
