MAN KILLED BY TRAIN
MISSING FROM WEDDING (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. The dead body of Ernest Royal Jones, 43, was found at Mangoro crossing, near Otahnhu, this morning by railway surfacemen. IT i? believed that he was struck by an early morning goods train. Jones, who was employed by a butchering firm, was to have been married last Wednesday evening. He did not turn up and the wedding service was postponed, and, in the belief that lie was suffering from loss of memory, a search was begun, but without success.
