TERM REDUCED
JOCKEY’S SUSPENSION (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. On an appeal by A. E. Ellis, the jockey, against the decision of the Dunedin /district! committee, the Racing Conference judges have reduced the penalty of two months’ suspension imposed on October 7 by the Dunedin Jockey Club to one month. The judges state that mitigating circumstances in the case apparently were not fully given effect to by the Dunedin committee, Ellis will be able to ride at Riccarton on Wednesday.
